Jack Rogers joined the Southern Group in 2026, bringing nearly a decade of experience in state government and Florida politics, with extensive expertise in transportation policy and legislative affairs.
He advises clients on navigating Florida’s legislative and executive branches, drawing on relationships across state government with a proven record of advancing complex policy and funding initiatives.
Prior to joining the Southern Group, Jack served as the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), leading the agency’s legislative and policy agenda and securing more than $7 billion for the Moving Florida Forward Initiative, one of the largest infrastructure investments in Florida history. He also played a key role in advancing historic transportation policy reforms and implementing one of the nation’s first frameworks for Advanced Air Mobility.
After leading multiple successful Florida Senate campaigns for Senator Jim Boyd, who now serves as the Florida Senate President-Designate, Jack joined his office as a Legislative Assistant in the Florida Senate. Drawing on his extensive campaign experience and strategic political expertise, Jack played a key role in advancing legislative priorities, managing local government engagement, and supporting policy initiatives.
Jack has also served as Political Director for former House Speaker Paul Renner and worked on a statewide gubernatorial campaign, which has given him a comprehensive understanding of Florida’s political and policy landscape.
A sixth-generation Floridian, Jack is a Lakeland native and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi. Jack resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Julie.
