Tim Perrin
Washington, D.C., District of Columbia

Tim Perrin joined TSG Advocates in 2026, bringing more than two decades of experience helping organizations navigate complex public policy challenges. Most recently, Tim spent 16 years at Polsinelli, where he represented clients before Congress and federal agencies and advised organizations on strategies to advance their legislative and regulatory priorities. Drawing on his background in government relations, association advocacy, and strategic communications, Tim works closely with clients to develop and execute effective public policy strategies.

Throughout his career, Tim has represented clients in the healthcare, environmental, education, energy and technology sectors, guiding them through the policy process and helping them navigate the politics and key players shaping federal decision-making. He works with executive leadership, government affairs professionals, board members, and grassroots advocates to develop strategies that secure policy wins and federal appropriations, build effective coalitions, and cultivate champions in Congress and federal agencies.

Tim also brings valuable experience as an in-house lobbyist for a national medical specialty society, where he managed the organization’s grassroots advocacy program and lobbied the U.S. House and Senate Appropriations Committees for funding supporting healthcare programs serving seniors and healthcare providers.

Tim began his career in Washington, D.C., as a University of South Carolina Washington Fellow serving on the staff of Congressman Floyd Spence. He earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from the University of South Carolina and later received a master’s degree in legislative affairs from The George Washington University.
