TEAM / James Earley
James Earley is an Information Technology professional with extensive experience in both the public and private sector. He currently serves as President of InnTec Consulting.
Jimmy served in a number of positions throughout his South Carolina government career including Senate staff member, agency Chief Information Officer and Chief of Staff at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Prior to his retirement from state government, Jimmy served as the Director of the SC Division of Information Technology (State CIO). His office was responsible for the management of the state data center, the state’s data and telecommunications infrastructure, and providing various IT services to state agencies. Jimmy worked with the Governor’s office, House and Senate leadership, and state agency directors to provide IT subject matter expertise, create budgets, secure legislative support and funding for vital projects, and assist with strategic planning.
In the private sector, Mr. Earley worked as a system engineer at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Decision Dynamics Inc, a SC software development firm.
