Harry Sporidis joined The Southern Group in 2026, bringing more than two decades of experience in federal advocacy and public policy strategy. He advises clients on navigating complex legislative and regulatory challenges, leveraging longstanding relationships across Capitol Hill and deep experience working with both Republican and Democratic policymakers to advance client priorities.
Harry began his career on Capitol Hill, where he served in multiple senior legislative roles in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was a senior legislative assistant to Congressman Jim Greenwood, advising on policy matters before the House Energy and Commerce Committee and supporting legislative strategy and office operations. Earlier, he served as a legislative assistant to Congressman Mike Bilirakis, then-chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health, where he developed deep expertise in health policy. He also worked in the office of Congressman E. Clay Shaw, chairman of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade.
Following his time in Congress, Harry has represented clients across the health care, energy, telecommunications, transportation, and financial services sectors. He advises pharmaceutical and medical device companies, health care organizations, and major corporations on federal policy strategy, regulatory engagement, and legislative advocacy, helping clients navigate the intersection of policy, politics, and business objectives.
Harry earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington & Jefferson College.
