TEAM / Chris Rorick

Christopher Rorick joined The Southern Group with 30 years of experience in federal and state government relations and public service. He advises clients on health care and health science policy, helping organizations navigate complex legislative and regulatory environments and advance strategic advocacy initiatives. 

Chris has represented a wide range of physician, nursing, medical research, and trade associations, leading federal legislative strategy, political engagement, and grassroots mobilization efforts. He is known for his ability to align stakeholder interests and build coalitions to support policy priorities across Congress and federal agencies. 

Earlier in his career, Chris served as legislative staff in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Colorado State Legislature, where he developed a strong foundation in the legislative process and policymaking. His experience in government provides him with a practical understanding of how policy is developed, negotiated, and implemented. 

Chris earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado.
