Ben Watson joins TSG Advocates after a career in strategic communications and public affairs, with extensive experience in media relations and influencer communications. He began his career as a public affairs soldier in the U.S. Army, serving with the 111th Press Camp and 103rd Public Affairs Detachment. This foundational experience led to his expertise being sought after to develop and execute high-impact messaging strategies for dozens of organizations, including an Inc. 500 company, universities, and fintech firms. He also played a key role in a Department of Homeland Security communications team, providing emergency management communications and media relations during federally declared natural disasters.

Ben specializes in crisis communications, earned media placement, and reputation management for high-profile individuals. He has provided reputation management services for a Forbes 400 billionaire, a former U.S. Attorney General, and other corporate executives. He also worked closely with the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. presidential campaign, where former Rep. Dennis Kucinich hired him to develop key inroads for Mr. Kennedy in the Intermountain West.

Beyond strategic communications, Ben has managed media relations for live productions featuring notable performers, including No. 1 Billboard artists, American Idol alumni, Disney stars, and Grammy nominees. His media and creative works have been featured on national broadcasts, including NBC Nightly News and Inside Edition, as well as numerous regional outlets.

A U.S. Army veteran and graduate of the Defense Information School at Fort Meade, Maryland, Ben holds a B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Utah’s Eccles School of Business.
