Michelle Grimsley
Tampa Bay, FL

Michelle Grimsley is a third generation Manatee County Native. She has a strong family foundation and deep ties to the Manatee County community. Having most recently served as legislative staff in the Florida House of Representatives covering four counties, Michelle is uniquely poised to serve the needs of clients in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

Michelle studied Marketing at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and became the Marketing Director for one of the largest student housing properties in Tallahassee and was later promoted to Special Events Coordinator for the Corporate Office at Student Housing Solutions. Michelle’s background in marketing and public relations, paired with her knowledge of the legislative process and work with non-profits bring a unique perspective to the Tampa Bay team.

She is a Founding Board Member and current Chair of the Board for the Manasota Black Chamber of Commerce.  She also sits on the Boards of Turning Points (Community Coalition on Homelessness), Manatee Tiger Bay, Manatee County Habitat for Humanity and the Manatee County Branch NAACP. Michelle is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Administration at Barry University.

Servant leadership is part of who Michelle is because her parents nurtured that spirit in her. She does not believe in simply pointing out problems but in working to find the best solution for the greater good. Michelle quotes, “A lack of passion will yield lackluster results.”
